Activating SiriusXM in Your Vehicle (with FM Radio support)

✅ Step 1: Make Sure You’re on the Right Channel

  • Tune your vehicle radio to channel 1. This is the SiriusXM preview channel.

  • If you hear the preview, your radio is ready to be activated.

✅ Step 2: Find Your Radio ID (ESN)

You’ll need your radio’s ESN or Radio ID.

  • For most radios: Tune to channel 0 to see your Radio ID.

  • Or, check your vehicle’s owner’s manual or SiriusXM-compatible device.

  • Radio IDs are typically 8 or 12 characters (letters & numbers).

✅ Step 3: Activate Your Service

Choose one of the following options:

  • Call 1-866-635-2349

  • Speak to a SiriusXM representative or follow the prompts for activation.

✅ Step 4: Send the Signal

  • Once activated, turn on your radio and tune to channel 1.

  • Then, leave your vehicle on for about 10-15 minutes with a clear view of the sky (for satellite signal).

FM Radio on a TV

  • Some older TVs (especially in certain countries) had built-in FM radio tuners.

  • If your TV supports FM radio, activating it usually involves:

    • Going to the “Source” or “Input” menu.

    • Selecting FM Radio (if available).

    • Using the remote to scan for stations.

🔍 Note: Most modern smart TVs do not include FM tuners. Instead, they use internet radio or streaming apps (like TuneIn, iHeartRadio).

  • If you’re referring to “FM Activation” as a feature (e.g., a setting, app, or service on your TV), please provide more context:

3. FM as a Cable/Satellite Channel

  • In some regions, FM radio stations are broadcast via cable TV (assigned to channels).

  • You can tune into those channels like normal TV channels if your provider offers that.
